Started training in 1978 under the direction of Grandmaster Y. H. Kwon in San Diego, CA. in the arts of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan, HapKiDo, & Tae Kwon Do. Also trained with Master Larry Dercole (San Diego CA.) & Master Tong Hwan Kim (Stone Mt. GA.). Currently holds Masters Degree Black Belt through the United Martial Arts Federation headed by Grandmaster Y.H.Kwon.

Presently training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Master Roberto Traven.

Holds 4th Dan in Haidong Gumdo a traditional Korean Sword Martial Arts through World Haidong Gumdo Federation.
